SUDBURY AIR SERVICES AND COMMERCIAL PLAN

The plan included market research and demand assessment, identification of strategic alternatives, ultimately focussing on developing Sudbury as a low cost airline centre for a regional catchment population of 500,000. New entrant airline negotiation assistance was provided and a low cost daily service to this northern Ontario city was inaugurated. The airport commercial plan focussed on rationalizing existing lease properties and opening new land parcels in response to local demand. The plan included subdivision layouts, cost estimates and short, medium and long term goals for marketing and development of infrastructure.

LPS AVIA has also been called upon to provide air terminal planning assistance, requirements assessment for hold baggage screening, assistance during ATB design and construction, negotiations with Nav Canada, land use planning, an Aeronautical Study, and conceptual design of a Forest Fire Attack Centre at the airport.
